How Ibogaine Reintroduced Me to My Body
“Imagine 20 hours of experiencing the birth of every blood vessel in your body, 20 hours of going back in deep through the birth of those blood vessels, into the birth of the cosmos. It was like a journey into my own soul, a journey back into my own body.”
In this episode of Adventures of the Psyche, we are joined by Dream Mullick, who shares how ibogaine slowed her down to a turtle’s place to show her how fast she’d been moving, and how this process helped Dream get back into her body and meet herself “anew, for the first time.”
Dream Mullick is a writer, teacher, producer, and dreamer dedicated to the exploration and expansion of consciousness. After founding an ecologically conscious fair-trade jewelry company, she became the Director of Development/Partnerships of the GOOD/UN Foundation’s #EarthToParis and #EarthToMarrakech campaigns. Her current work has her curating the live and virtual Entheowheel offerings at Eselen, a program that bridges the worlds of ceremony and science with sacred plant medicines and psychedelics. She is also a co-producer of Prescription X, a documentary on the life of Dr. Rick Doblin and his journey with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) to legalize psychedelics as medicines.
Join filmmaker and host Mareesa Stertz for a brief visit into other realms where guests share personal stories of illumination, healing, and transformation through their use of psychedelics. See more Adventure of the Psyche episodes here.
